You’ve probably heard the term “point of view” in relation to a lot of creative arts including movies, TV shows, and sometimes even art pieces. But what does POV mean in writing. When you are writing, the POV that you choose to write in sets the tone for your entire book.

Each POV is unique from the others and each has a best way to use them. The problem I am having is when to use author’s voice. I wonder whether I should use it all, because some people recommend not using author’s voice as it breaks immersion.
